Teachers Clothes Show

clothes-show-logoThe teacher’s clothes show rocked!!! It was one of the most popular shows of charities week. This was no conventional fashion catwalk. It was more of a teacher’s fancy dress show, pantomime and  sing song.  The teachers performed in departments.

The first subject  up was the Design department dressed as Hawaiian Ninjas doing ZUMBA, we think. They were followed by Science doing GANGNAM STYLE. Unlike the original video the science teachers are not dancers. up next were: Mr Farnham, Mr Pepper and Mr Dutton as RAPPP!! The Geography Department shocked the crowd with BOND STYLE, wasn’t that a sight! A fantastic  show finished with Head of Schools as Royals, and wasn’t they posh!

To read more please go to the charities week report.

You can watch some of the action below captured by one of our readers on their ipad. Thank-you for reading and leave your comments below.

New generation of Xbox?

English: XBox 360 wired controller. Français :...

The XBox 360 wired controller.

There has been rumours of a new generation of Xbox, the Xbox 720.  Microsoft has not released any news about the new console apart from that it might be released after the play station 4.

Our research has suggested that it might be equipped with Skype.  Lots of people are still questioning why you would need Skype to improve your gaming experience.  I think that the option to see who you are talking to would reassure gamers parents  and would help you to expand your social skills.  Maybe the real purpose of introducing Skype would be to get more people using Skype which Microsoft also owns. Apart from the rumours there is nothing  from Microsoft about the  progress of the Xbox 720.   In my opinion, Microsoft should just tell us, the fans.  if  and when they are releasing the nest Xbox.  After all it is only polite.

What features would you like to see on the next Xbox?  Let me know in the comments below.

Nintendo, one of the biggest gaming companies have just released their newest console, the Wii U. The Wii U’s most significant feature is the game pad, a tablet looking controller. It has a touch screen interface which allows an extra boost to most games on the Wii U such as on Nintendo’s first horror game, ZombiU. You can use the game pad to open doors that have combination lock’s and searching for items in the inventory. Here is a video about what you can do with the gamepad for this game:

Warning: May Contain Inapropriate Content:

Nintendo are really trying to beat Microsoft’s XBox 360 & Sony’s Playstation 3.

“Fresh fruit bazaar.” (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

As we all know in the next couple of weeks each house will be hosting a Christmas bazaar on Thursday. There is also a competition between each of the houses to raise as much money as possible and the winner will win a trophy for the house to keep. As we all know Ignis has already done their bazaar and now it is Ventus’ turn to try and raise as much money as possible. The houses’ turns are in a specific order going from Ignis to Ventus to Terra and finally Aqua. This gives Aqua an advantage as the costumers will be warmed up for fun and games at Aqua’s Christmas Bazaar.

So who is going to win this competition? Keep your eyes peeled for the next edition of this article!

british touring cars go to local crofts race course

On saturday 23rd – sunday 24th of june

The stars of Britain’s premier motor racing  championship are back at Croft! Honda ace Matt Neal won two of the three races  at Croft in 2011 on his way to the crown – can he do the same again in 2012 as  he seeks to equal Andy Rouse’s record of four titles? Two days of non-stop  bumper-to-bumper, fender-bending action featuring BTCC practice, qualifying and three races plus plenty more thrills and spills from the supporting  categories such as Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Ginetta GT Supercup, Ginetta Juniors  etc! Children 15 and under are admitted free to the  Circuit as long as accompanied by an adult.  A grandstand seat would also need to be purchased for Children.

it’s near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England.

the tickets cost around £13 – £78 which are quite cheap!

The Raspberry Pi

The worlds cheapest computer is here the raspberry pi. The raspberry Pi is low cost, small, and portable. It’s actually as small as a credit card. It is a computer that is designed for teaching programming and runs on fedora (an operating system). The raspberry pi has no cover and comes with preinstalled programs like scratch.
It was designed for educational purposes like teaching children how to program with a cheap and easy to use computer. It’s as cheap as £16.00 in the UK. At the minute the raspberry pi is being targeted at children and schools. Element 14 (company of the raspberry pi) think this will be the very first step to intelligent robots. This could be the very thing that leads the way to the future.
